PLANNING YOUR WORKSHOP
We offer an extensive variety of workshops and we can adapt our workshops to fit your specific instructional needs. To begin planning a workshop for your school or organization we suggest that you identify which type of workshop you are interested in from the "Workshop Formats" section below. Then, select the subject of your workshop from our workshop subjects.
Our workshop formats vary in length, depth and complexity. To decide on which format you choose will depend on several factors:
Who the workshop is intended for (i.e. - single grade or multi-grade)
What time of day you want (i.e. - before, during or after school)
The length and frequency of the program (i.e. - a single event, a once a week class, etc.)
These workshops are custom-designed for single grade or entire school participation during the school day and can vary in length. Topics include music, dance, science, theater, technology and art.
INTELLECTUAL IMMERSION WORKSHOPS
These day-long workshops offer depth and complexity in learning. They can be tailored to fit a school's needs and designed as a multi-grade program (i.e., a two-hour program for the 4th grade and a two-hour program for the 5th grade).
For students identified as gifted and talented (GATE) by the school district, these hands-on workshops offer students project and inquiry based experiences that are intellectually stimulating. Offered before, during or after school, these classes typically run 4-8 weeks.
